Down Syndrome Buddy Walk October 30

The Down Syndrome Awareness Group of Baton Rouge will hold its 10th annual Buddy Walk on Saturday, October 30 at South Park in Denham Springs. The Buddy Walk was held the last 2 years at Lake Wanetiri. The goal of the Buddy Walk is to support education, research and advocacy, while promoting understanding and acceptance of people with Down Syndrome. The ½ mile fun walk is open to everyone. A percentage of the proceeds raised go to the National Down Syndrome Society to help achieve its goals on behalf of people with Down Syndrome. Please come out and support this very worthy cause.
