Red Ribbon Week This Week at CMS

This week is Red Ribbon Week at Central Middle School.  The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to raise awareness and encourage youth to say no to drugs.  CMS encourages the students to participate by doing different dress days to keep Red Ribbon Week in the forefront this week.

Monday, October 18^th – Friday, Oct. 22^nd the Beta Club is sponsoring Red Ribbon Week. Dress Days are as follows:

Monday, Oct. 18- “You’re Crazy to Do Drugs Day”– Students wear their hair in a crazy fashion. Regular uniforms must be worn. (No wigs)

Tuesday, Oct. 19- “Black Out Drugs”- Students wear their black spirit/Central Shirts or plain black shirt. This will also be a home game for the CMS Football Team.

Wednesday, Oct. 20- “Sock it to Drugs Day”- Students will wear crazy socks to school. The rest of the uniform will remain the same.

Thursday, Oct. 21- “Be a JEAN-ius – Say No to Drugs”- Students will wear blue jeans with their uniform shirt. The shirt must be tucked in at all times.

Friday, Oct. 22-“Show your Spirit for your favorite team Day”-Students can wear any shirt that specifically denotes a name of a team. Regular uniform bottoms must be worn, and the shirt must be tucked in with a belt.
