Central Bloomers Yard of the Month

Central Bloomers Garden Club is pleased to announce as its' "featured landscape" this month is St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.  Shortly after crossing over the Comite River bridge into the city of Central all eyes check out the beautiful grounds surrounding the church.  A pleasant mixture of evergreen varieties such as Lil Gem magnolias, junipers, Indian Hawthorne, azaleas and roses help to create a most serene setting year round.  Mix in perennials, tropicals, and bursts of seasonal color for a winning combination.  We are very pleased to award the Jackie Brewer Memorial to St. Alphonsus for its outstanding contribution in helping Central to "grow beautifully."
