Community Pep Rally Tonight in Wildcat Stadium
By Beth Fussell
The 3-1 Central Wildcats will face the Catholic High Bears, also 3-1, this Friday night at 7 p.m. in Memorial Stadium. The Catholic game has traditionally been an important one to the Wildcats, as the Bears tend to bring stiff competition every year. Last year brought a big loss for Catholic, as Central piled on the points for the victory. The Bears are looking to make up for that loss with a statement win on Friday. To get pumped up for the game, the Central Men’s Club is throwing a community-wide pep rally in Wildcat Stadium at 7:30 p.m. tonight (Thursday). Everyone is invited to come get ready for what is sure to be a big game tomorrow. Fans are asked to wear white to the game itself for a whiteout. White game day shirts are available at Central High School and will also be sold at the pep rally.
