Rotary Club of Central Holds Official Charter Meeting

The Rotary Club of Central held its Official Charter Meeting on Sept. 23, 2010 at Sammy's Grill in Central.
Charter members include: President, Kenny Wall and members: Deana Blacklock, Mary Broussard, Linda Fontenot, Derek Glover, Jennifer Hinton, Les Hunt, Pamela T. Johnson, Bill Porche, Kathryn Richard, Lucky Ross, Ralph Washington, Mayor Mac Watts, Mac Watts, Jr.
The meeting was called to order by Phill Rees of the Baton Rouge Sunrise Rotary Club which sponsored the new Central Rotary. District Governor Clarence Prudhomme made some opening remarks and the Guest Speaker was Verge Ausberry, Sr. Associate Athletics Director, LSU Athletic Department.
