Talor D’Amico

A student at Baton Rouge Community College and a member of the Louisiana National Guard's 927th Sapper Company, Talor passed away Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010. He was 21 and a resident and native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, Aug. 5, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Steve Johnson. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Talor is survived by his parents, Brad A. and Darlene D'Amico; sister, Ariel M. D'Amico; brother, Cody J. D'Amico; godchild, Callie Wright; grandfather, Daniel "Skip" D'Amico; grandmother, Margaret LaFleur; grandfather, Luke Darbonne; uncles, Danny D'Amico, Scot and wife Missy Darbonne, and Shane and wife Kim Darbonne; aunts, Marie and husband Chris Nelson, and Sonya and husband John Zimmer; and cousins, Jason and Rocco DeBenedetto, Cameron Harley, Danielle and Courtney Jeffries and Gabby Maggio. Talor was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dot D'Amico; cousin, Madison Maggio; uncle, Rick Temple; and great-grandparents, Sam and Marie D'Amico, Joseph and Odette Lindsly, Rodney and Camie LaFleur and Alduce and Olinar Darbonne. Pallbearers will be Cody D'Amico, Jason and Rocco DeBenedetto, Daniel Wright, Justin Arnone, Cameron Harley, Dustin Hamilton and Jacques Dupre. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Louisiana National Guard 927th Sapper Company. Talor was an honor graduate of Northeast High School. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was an avid LSU and Saints fan. He loved to go fishing and spending time with children. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
