Lane RMC Hosting Blood Drives and Support Groups

Lane Regional Medical Center is located at 6300 Main St. in Zachary, but there are several opportunities there for citizens of surrounding cities, as well.  Next Thursday, July 15th, Lane will be holding a blood drive.  The hospital holds one every quarter.  This donated blood goes on to save many lives, so consider heading over to donate this month.  Bring a photo I.D. with you if you intend to donate blood.

Several support groups are open to newcomers at Lane.  This coming Monday, July 12th, there will be a group meeting entitled "Moving Forward after Stroke" for those who have been affected by a stroke.  There is also a Diabetes Support Group that will be meeting on Tuesday, July 13th.  Every Monday and Tuesday, the public is invited to attend Lane's Scale Down Orientation.
