Central Bible Church Beginning New Study Series

Central Bible Church will begin a verse by verse exposition of 1 Corinthians together on Sunday mornings starting July 11, 2010. This book will change your life! The principles found in the teaching of this letter, touch on the core of Christianity like no other book that I've yet studied. You will learn to articulate what it means to be Christian in a way you never have before.

Issues dealing with in this letter:
Social Status (spiritual pride and arrogance)
Religious Pluralism
Marriage and Divorce
Class warfare
Christian Attitudes
Operation of Spiritual Gifts
Roles of Men and Women in the church, family and society
Ordinance of Communion
The Nature of the Gospel
The Christian Hope
Sanctification
(And more.. they will come out as we progress through our study)
I'm praying even now that the Spirit will apply His Word into our hearts, minds and lives.
 
In addition, I'd like to announce an addition to our team, Jacob Zachary (jacobzachary.com), who will serve as Director of Creative Ministries. This volunteer position will grow over time, but among other things, Jacob will coordinate our worship times, musicians, Scripture reading, audio (and video?), etc.
