Central Community Alliance Hosted CAAA Program

Ms. Jan Latimer, Region Coordinator for Capital Area Agency on Aging (CAAA) presented a program to the Central Community Alliance on Tuesday, June 15, 2010.  The Capital Area Agency on Aging administers the Louisiana Answers Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) and Louisiana SenioRX programs in the capital area for the Governor’s Office of Elderly Affairs.
 
Ms. Latimer talked about several items that would benefit senior citizens.  Looking for help for seniors or disabled adults is the main concern of this organization.  If you have questions about aging, Medicare Part D, living with a disability, finding affordable medications, or caring for an adult who needs assistance, the CAAA will try to assist you.   This organization serves 13 parishes in the Capital Area.
