Bike-A-Thon Raises Money for St. Jude

Last Saturday, June 12th, community members gathered at Bellingrath Hills Elementary for the annual St. Jude Bike-A-Thon. The event, created to raise awareness and funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, attracts both children and adults with its fun atmosphere and worthy cause.

St. Jude accepts patients regardless of theiir ability to pay, and St. Jude is constantly updating and improving their treatment methods through research. If you missed out on contributing funds to the cause, you can go online at any time to donate to www.stjude.org. The majority of their operations is funded through donations, so this charity is an important one for children around the country who are in need of medical treatment. Thank you to everyone who came out Saturday to help and support St. Jude.
