CPS Raffle Dinner a Success

The Central Private Parents’ Club held its annual $10,000 Raffle Dinner and Live Auction on Thursday, May 20, 2010.  This year’s theme was “A Night of Dreams,” and the event, which held excitement and surprises for all attending,  served as the kick-off for Dreamfest 2010.  An impressive list of live auction items were a delight to the crowd and provided for friendly “bidding war” among the attendees.  Three of the items were auctioned specifically to benefit  the three CPS students involved in a car accident on May 18.  In addition to the $10K prize, five ticket holders received a refund of their ticket price and one ticket holder received $1,000.

The annual event raises funds to offset the cost of educational, technological, and other improvements to Central Private School that fall outside the school’s tuition-based operating budget.  The funds raised in past years have supported such items as upgrading the computer labs, providing professional development funds for faculty, and scholarships for graduating seniors.

Central Private Parents’ club would like to thank all of the volunteers, donors, ticket holders, and bidders who made the event such a success and for their continued support of Central Private School.
