Central Private Track Competes in State Meet

Central Private School Tracksters perform well at the MAIS State Meet.  At the MAIS State Track Meet held at Mississippi College last weekend, the CPS Track Team placed 5th Overall at the State Meet., and the following qualifiers placed in their individual events: Girls: Mallory Gregoire took 3rd Place in the Long Jump, and Maddie Savoie placed 4th in the Mile Run. In Boys Field events, Travis Richard placed 2nd in Shot Put, and Conley White placed 2nd in Discus. In Boys Track events, Bobby Muse took 1st Place in both the 100m and 200m. The 4 x 200 Relay Team of Ryan Bowman, Troy Lowe, Bobby Muse, and Travis Richard placed 3rd; the 4x 400 Relay Team of Ryan Bowman, Troy Lowe, Bobby Muse, and Cody Overstreet placed 2nd; and the 4 x 800 Relay Team of Orrin Byland, Cody Overstreet, Travis Richard, and Lance Wicker placed 5th.
