7th Annual Ride for Autism & Poker Run
The Ride for Autism, sponsored by Project Independence, will begin this Friday, April 23rd at 1 PM. Project Independence is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization. The funds go to help send children with autism to summer camp and to assist parents with the financial cost of caring for autistic children. To register, visit www.projectindependence.org or call 985-237-0429. The $35.00 registration fee includes one poker hand and admission to a private party at Doc Big Loves in Natchez on Saturday. There is an Ebay auction going on right now for an autographed guitar from Clay Walker, the proceeds from which will go to this charitable cause. Any street legal vehicle is welcome to participate in the ride. Even if you would just like to donate rather than participate, you are welcome to do so.
