Central Library- Did You Know?

The original Central Branch Library was built in 1940 in the W.R. Edwards Store across the street from the Central School. The branch was closed in 1944 and reopened on the Central School campus in 1945 due to space issues. The library was moved again in 1971 to the building constructed by L. W. Eaton on Hooper Road, where it remained until fairly recently when the new library facility opened on Joor Road near Hooper.
