Safety Checkpoint a Success

The EBR Sheriff’s Office conducted a safety checkpoint from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Wax Rd last night, Thursday, September 24, in front of Central High. Deputies checked for driver’s licenses, registration, and proof of insurance, as well as impaired drivers. Numerous citations were issued. Thanks to them for doing a great job and keeping our streets safe. More checkpoints are planned during the remainder of this year at various locations
