Central Chosen by State for Economic Program

Central is one of 8 cities in the state that has been chosen to participate in the Louisiana Development Ready Communities Pilot Program. The plan is designed to help communities become more competitive economically. As part of the plan, Central will be visited and evaluated by a research group that will help find ways to improve Central’s economic standing in today’s market. This evaluation will begin in early 2010.
