CMS Football Triumphs over Northwest

On Tuesday night, the Central Middle Wildcats won their season-opening game against the Northwest Braves from Zachary. The Braves managed to tie the game 8-8 with 32 seconds left in regulation. In overtime, the CMS offense bullied its way to a touchdown and a successful 2-point conversion. The Braves had their turn on offense, but the Wildcat defense overwhelmed them and allowed a 16-8 win for Central. The Wildcats will travel to Jackson next Tuesday, September 15 for a 6:00pm game. Go Wildcats!
