CHS Softball: Bi-District Champs

The Lady Wildcat softball team drew a #21 seed in the state playoffs and traveled to Byrd High School in Shreveport Tuesday for the first round game. The Wildcats, who threatened throughout the game, had two of their three
hits in the eighth inning and scored 2 runs on a throwing error by the Lady Jackets to break the 0-0 pitchers duel. Shelbee Rodgers threw a two hitter with 15 strikeouts to lead the Lady Wildcats in the circle. The regional
round will be at Wildcat field, Saturday 12:00 PM against the Cougars of St. Thomas More. A win will put the Lady Wildcats back in the State Tournament for the second consecutive year.
