Central High Boys and Girls Varsity Cross Country Teams competed in the district championship meet
on Nov 12 at Highland Road Park. Despite the rain and mud, the Boys Varsity Team was narrowly edged out of a third place finish in 5A . Each runner for Central ran a new personal best time. The teams look forward to running in the state championship at Northwestern State University on Tuesday, Nov. 18. Team members competing were Robert Kelly, Scott Campbell, Luke Galbo, Cole Brian, Seth Brown, Hunter Silvio, Madalyn Covillon, and Clair Shows. Coaches are Chad Jarreau and Scott Osborne.
