Wildcat Volleyball, Ranked in LA Top 15, Loses Heartbreaker to Lady Jackets

The LHSAA released the first power rankings for the volleyball season today and the Wildcats find themselves sitting at number 12. CLICK HERE FOR THE LINK

The Lady Wildcats are in the top 15, but you can’t win them all.  The team lost a 3-2, heartbreaker to district 3-5A rival Denham Springs. Central won the first match 25-16, but were unable to stop the Lady Jackets in games 2 and 3, losing 25-16. The Lady Wildcats bounced back in the 4th game and won 25-16 to force a deciding game 5. The Jackets were able to take control early and put away the Lady Wildcats 15-8 for the win. The Wildcats are now 20-5, 6-4 in district and stand in third place.
