Robert Woosley to Speak at RWC July Meeting

    Robert Woosley will be the featured guest speaker on Social Security, retirement investments and how recent federal changes affect our ability to be financially prepared  for he Republican Women of Central's monthly meeting planned for Monday, July 15 at Sammy's Grill in Central. Members and the public are invited to learn how to best prepare and protect their savings, medical benefits and lifelong investments. 
    Socializing and networking begin at 5:45p.m., dinner and speaker starting at 6:30p.m. Door prize tickets, dinner and beverage are included in the cost of $20 per person.  Specific topics to be discussed will be the current environment for Social Security and Medicare, strategies for maximizing social security in retirement and the cost of health care in retirement.
    Financial Management Consultant, attorney, and Central resident Robert Woosley will share the ups and downs, ins and outs of Changes to what we know as social security. Many of the recent changes have left most of us feeling insecure financially. Robert is very knowledgeable and will share the latest information on what consideration you will need to make to keep you retirement more secure.  He is also an associate member of RWC.
    Robert is also active in the community as a volunteer to the LSU Track and Field Team, member of the LSU Track and Field Officials Association, Redemptorist High School Alumni Board, and President of the City of Central Kiwanis along with numerous other civic organizations. He works with and coaches young athletes to assist in their development and hopes to fulfilling dreams on participating at the college level. Since 2006, Robert has participated in the fund raising efforts of the Mary Bird Perkins Capital Campaign.
