Elizabeth Harvey and Tyler Reames Wed in Houston

Reames WeddingB    Elizabeth Grace Harvey and Tyler Craig Reames were united in marriage on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at four o'clock in the afternoon. The double ring ceremony was performed by Dr. Charles B. Simmons, The Reverend Katie McKay Simpson and The Reverend Arthur Jones at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church in Houston. Music for the ceremony was provided by Stephen Distad, organist; Justin Langham, trumpet and Meghan Horan, soloist. The Reverend Glen Miers, cousin of the groom, served as a reader for the ceremony.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. Dean Alan Harvey and Bishop Cynthia Fierro Harvey of Baton Rouge; formerly of Houston. She is the granddaughter of the late Colonel and Mrs. Amos Calvin Harvey and Mr. and Mrs. Agustin Fierro.
    The groom is the son of Mr. Stephen Craig and Mrs. Amy Potts Reames of Baton Rouge. He is the grandson of Mrs. Ivel Potts of Baton Rouge and the late Mr. Felix Potts, the late Mr. Craig Reames and Mrs. Thelma Reames Hanna and the great grandson of the late Mrs. Ella Samford. 
    Presented in marriage by her parents, and escorted by her father, the bride wore a wedding gown especially designed for her by New York designer Austin Scarlett. 
    Serving as maid of honor was Hannah Powers Howard. Bridesmaids were Mariann Gonzalez, Ashton Pearce, Tyler Jo Pearce and Michelle Reames, sister of the groom. 
    Serving as best man was Jake Stuart. Groomsmen were Jacob Dileo, Kirk Magnuson, Chase Hilton, Spencer McAnally and Alex Weltman. 
    Elyse Simmons served as flower girl and Thomas Simmons as ring bearer. Ushers were Matthew Martinez, Jordan Martinez, cousins of the bride, and Sam Lyons and Jay Muller. Members of the house party were Andrea Griggs, Jennifer Nix and Meghan Horan.
    A reception with dinner and dancing at Lakeside Country Club followed the ceremony. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's family hosted a rehearsal meal at Cantina Laredo in Houston, Texas.
