CHS Baseball Works Hard to win District Title

Central varsity baseball traveled to Broadmoor last week and secured another district win 17-0. Central’s pitching only allowed 1 hit. The pitchers were Cameron Polk, Josh Stevens, and Jude Fontenot. Joseph Schoop hit a grand slam and had 7 RBIs against Broadmoor. Adam Porche also had a hot bat.
On Saturday, the Wildcats had their first district loss to Walker. 2-1 was the final score . This was a great game played by both teams. Preston Fondren did a great job as the pitcher for this game. Central continues district play this week against Live Oak on Wednesday at 4pm and Scotlandville Saturday at 1pm. Both games will be played at "The Yard."
Everyone come out and support the CHS Baseball team as they continue to play hard for the title of District Champions.
