3rd Annual CHS Fishing Tournament

    On March 15, 2014, the 3rd annual Central High Bass Tournament took place and was a great event.  Many Central High students participated and showed up for the event.  Participants were to fish during this day from daylight till 2:00.  The weigh-in took place at 2:00.  The tournament consists of 7 places total weight of 5 bass.  Also, there were first and second place for big bass and trash fish.  This event was headed and coordinated by Coach David LeSage.  Coach LeSage would like to thank everyone for their time and effort to make this a memorable event for our students.   Also, I would like to thank the Henson family, Jackie Goudeau, Henry Goudeau, Shawn Kennedy, the Young family and the following sponsors:

    The winners are:  1st Place: Dalen Tidwell, Darrell Henson & Tim Boudreaux (weight 19.10 lbs.);  2nd place:  Trent Borskey & Zachary Pollard (weight 16.2 lbs.);  3rd place: Mason Evans & Micah Venable (weight 13.4 lbs.);  4th Place: Christian Nettles & Uncle Bill (weight 11 lbs.);  5th Place: Joseph Pourciau & Jacob Pourciau (weight 10.6 lbs.);  6th Place: Mason Guerin & Michael Rispone (weight 9.12 lbs.);  7th Place: Ty Lusk & Michael Blaney (weight 8.6 lbs.)
    Big Bass:  1st Place: Trent Borskey & Zachary Pollard (weight 5 lbs. 14 oz.);  2nd Place: Mason Evans & Micah Venable (weight 5 lbs. 4 oz.);  Trash Fish: Joseph Pourciau & Jacob Pourciau (weight 1.8 lbs.)
