Help Cool Runnings Support Saint Jude

By  |

On April 26th a group of runners will be participating in the Saint Jude Country Music Marathon in Nashville Tennessee. Among the runners are Central High graduates Krista Tullier and Daniell Sutton. Also participating is team captain Melissa Rodriguez. Melissa is a certified personal trainer at Body Bayou in Central. She recruited Daniell and Krista last year, and the ladies have been training ever since. The girls will be selling tickets for a drawing to raise money for the amazing children at Saint Jude. The tickets sell for five dollars each, and they enter you into a drawing for a wide variety of prizes. These tickets are available to be purchased at Jerry Lees, the Central Fire Department, and Snap Fitness at Magnolia Bridge. All proceeds go to Saint Jude. Donations can also be made at www.heroes.stjude.org/coolrunnings. Thank you so much for all the support.  Prizes include a gift basket with restaurant gift cards to eat out once a week for 6 months,  Courtney Browning photography session,  baseball lesson from former LSU baseball player Blake Dean,  signed baseball from former LSU closer Matty Ott,  $50 gift card from Turf Crawlers lawn services,  SweeTreasures photography session,  gift basket from Central Perk,  wreath made by The Trendy Door & More by Brittnie Crumholt,  signed drumsticks and photos from Elvis’ drummer DJ Fontana,  and more!
