CHS Wrestling Places 6th at State Tournament
The Central High wrestling team placed 6th in their division at the state wrestling tournament that was held in Kenner, LA on February 21 & 22.
The team that attended the state tournament consisted of (standing)Matthew Boudreau, Coach Justin Stafford, Russell Ball, Austin Cavin, Tyler Fontenot, Reed Hardin, Jon Winfrey, Dalton Holdman, Ryan Huffty, Kade McAdams, and on the front row Austin Gouedy, Daulton Rainwater, and Ben Averette.
The Central High wrestling team had several place at the state tournament in Kenner on Feb. 21 & 22. Back row: Coach Stafford, Ben Averette (6th), Dalton Holdman (5th), and Kade McAdams (4th) Front row: Austin Gouedy (2nd), Daulton Rainwater (4th) and Ryan Huffty (5th). Ryan Huffty was also honored as a member of the state All-Academic team.
