Pictured at left is a 28' tall turkey on the new pixel Mega Tree at the Hohensee home on Sullivan Road across from the new schools.  The turkey has now been replaced with a Christmas theme, and their annual Christmas light show and fundraiser has begun.  Come by during the evening, check out the beautiful light display synced to a Christmas radio station, and contribute to a good cause.
The Hohensee family donates money from the fundraiser each year to a local child in need.  This year’s donations will go to Aliyah Harvey, a second grader at Tanglewood Elementary.  Aliyah has cerebral palsy.  She is nonverbal and is wheelchair bound.  Aliyah has therapy multiple times a week, both at school and in Baton Rouge, and she travels to New Orleans every six months for treatment.  Aliyah is a very sweet young girl who always has a smile.  Let’s make this Christmas extra-special for her!
