Internationally Acclaimed Cellist and Pianist to Perform in Central

    The community is invited to enjoy an afternoon of beautiful music and the exquisite talent of internationally acclaimed artists Saturday, April 14 at the home of Russell and Nancy Westfall.  The Westfalls along with Jim and Gail Lloyd are hosting this event in an effort to promote the arts and  raise funds for the Blackwater Methodist Church Choir 's upcoming trip where they will perform at the Lincoln Center in New York.       
    Dr. Jee Yeoun Ko, cellist, was the Associate Principle in Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra and member of Acadiana Symphony Orchestra in Lafayette.  Dr. Ko is accompanied by Mr. Chia-Hsing Lin, pianist.  Mr.Lin has won many International Competitions, and in 2006 he was recognized as the best accompanist in the Grandin Festival.
    The concert will be from 2-4 p.m. at 15711 Four Oaks Dr. ini Central.  Four Oaks is located off Denham Road near Greenwell Springs Rd.  Cost per person is $15.00.  Hors d’oeuvres will be served in the garden following the concert. Seating is limited, so please RSVP at [email protected]
