Schools Working to Prevent Spread of Flu

By  |

Central schools have been experiencing a number of flu cases in sdtudents. Mrs. Frazier, Headmaster at Central Private School, asks that parents of sick children keep kids home from school until they have gone 24 hours without fever. The flu takes an average of about a week to run its course. Central Private students who are home sick can still find many of their assignments using ParentsWeb. Visit CentralPrivate.org to read the full letter from the Headmaster.

The Central Community School System also has a plan in place to deal with widespread illness in schools. The plan includes instructions for school faculty, staff, students, and parents to help prevent students from becoming ill at school.
