Volunteers Needed for Textbooks & Conference Room @ CHS

CHS will be distributing text books to the students who did not get theirs before school started.  There are also textbooks in need of repair. 

WHEN:  Tuesday, August 18 and Wednesday, August 19. 
We will need 8-10 people to help with the distribution of textbooks and the book repairs starting at 7:45 both mornings until school lets out both days.  Please let us know if you can help all day or for just a couple of hours.

I can’t say “Thank you” enough times for all the hard work you and the wonderful parent volunteers!  Every day you and your group amaze me at what you can accomplish.  If I put all the volunteers and their hours together that I have known since I’ve been in the field of education it would not begin to touch the number of hours your ladies and gentlemen serve. The parent/teacher conference room for the 9th Grade Academy is also in desperate need of an update!  The walls & carpet are aqua green.  The flooring is worn out.  Perhaps you have a rug that would be perfect for the room that you would like to donate. They are looking for an 8×10 rug that would go with the aqua carpet, and volunteers to paint the room are needed.

WHEN:  Work can be done anytime between now and the end of August.  Please reply if you’d like to be part of this painting project!  We’ll plan a couple of work days & make this room a pleasant place for parents, students & teachers to meet.
